Life In A Bottle

The beautiful briny sea
Another great work by one of our talented street artists, this time on the wall of a restaurant (Turkish Place) in Bay Street Brighton about 1500 metres from Brighton Beach.

If you rub the side of the bottle, will a genie come out?! Cheers!

I like this mural! So bright and cheerful! Much, much better than drab gray walls.

Nice angle, to catch the whole thing. I love street murals - this one is very lively! But why are the fish swimming about inside their bottles and bowls? Oh, who cares, it's amusing!

I think this brightly coloured mural helps to brighten up the walkway.

A creative and colorful mural, I usually don't like them, easy to make an exception for this real gem.

Nice mural! It actually really reminds me of south west Turkey!
Thanks for your comment on my wife's photo! The golden missile, or the blue cucumber as it is known here, is the HQ of the Barcelona Waterworks. Have a nice weekend!

I really like the way you've composed this. You've taken the street art and given it a global presence. There's something about that yellow line beside the curb that sends the eye back up into the body of the photograph. Really nicely done.

Leif - I don't know, but I have my three wishes ready just in case.

Hilda - How right you are. Many streets could be improved with wall paintings.

Three Rivers - I wondered the same thing. Life in a fish bowl?

Sonia - Urban artists don't get the recognition they deserve.

Autumn Belle - They make a pleasing visual effect.

Saretta - It's one of the best I've seen.

Rob - Perhaps that was the idea, given that it's a Turksih restaurant.

Day4plus - I like street art too.

Brattcat - Thanks. I think the yellow line blends well being a similar colour to the lower portion of the painting.

Gerald - I think perhaps the originality is the key.

Vogon Poet - It is very original.
