Hello, I created this blog because Melbourne is my city and I want people to see what a beautiful place it is. So come with me on a journey of discovery as we traverse the dining precincts, the culture, the laneways and hidden gems that make Melbourne marvellous.

Ghostly Gums - Skywatch Friday

Early one morning, just as the sun was rising
Outside my front door, facing north(ish) the wind was something fierce, it rocked me back and forth.

Pretty neat result I thought.

Kind of creepy alright. But a very interesting effect.

J Bar - The sky isn't usually that colour.

Photo Cache - It is a bit different.

Hilda - It does look a little "spooky". The tree is a native of Australia, a gum tree.
Funny thing though - the sky view from the back yard was totally different - white with a little pink.

You did some processing, right! I like it. Spooky, almost!

Jacob - actually I didn't do any processing. I don't have any Photo enhancement programs, I use Picasa to upload photos from my camera - I have my travel albums - about 63). It just turned out like this. Bit weird really.:-)

"the wind was something fierce" - and that's what it looks like. With the sun coming up. I like the colors, too.

A really interesting effect! Certainly appropriate for October and Halloween!

Enjoy your weekend!
