Theme Day - Passageway

Up The Ramp
This is one of the underground ramps of Flinders Street Station to the platform. Initially I had cropped it for a later post, but I think it looks more fitting in its unaltered state.

Today's Quote: A valet, of stealthy step, thence conducted me, in silence, through many dark and intricate passages in my progress to the studio of his master - Edgar Allan Poe.

hi blossom, luckily you haven't changed anything. ^0^ looks dramatic the way it is.
the light shining outside while the tiles are glistening,
this has got so much depth to it.
nice entry n foto!

very nice shot. I like lighting and contrast. Very well taken for shiny tile surface and so on.

Wow! great one for the theme, but it is the best photo I've seen today. Love the reflections in the tile and the perspective. Wow!

Excellent choice. We walked on a passageway through the Flinders Street Station, but never up a passageway to the platforms. I recall several very attractive walkways over the river near there.

A really good choice. I'm not sure I'd want to lug a heavy suitcase up this ramp. Better than steps tho! Love the reflections offthe brickwork.

What a great shot! I love symmetry, what can I say?

What a grand photo! The sheen from the tiles and the tile lines really pop out.

It appears very sombre and dark but doubtless leads to the light.
