Hello, I created this blog because Melbourne is my city and I want people to see what a beautiful place it is. So come with me on a journey of discovery as we traverse the dining precincts, the culture, the laneways and hidden gems that make Melbourne marvellous.

Marital Dispute in Art?

While taking a short cut to avoid traffic on the way to work, this piece of public art caught my eye. It definitely wasn't there last week and makes an otherwise dull laneway bright and cheerful.

Wonder what the "tag" means and how the roving artist managed to get enough paint supply. Spray can anyone?

This is great. Better than some of the tags and graffiti you usually see around the place.

Thanks J Bar. Graffiti, or public art in this form should be encouraged by local councils. Maybe then the "artists" would change from defacing fences etc with tags and produce something worth while.

It is beautiful work. Yur questions about where they got the paint reminds me of a large store here that sells picture frames or does picture framing. People wonder how they sell enough to pay the rent.

We have no idea how they do it but the owner was arrested for dealing in weed.

Tell you friends. Link up. Be part of history. Abraham Lincoln

Thanks for your comments Abraham Lincoln. I do like the tale of the poor picture framer - maybe he was "framed"?
