Mushrooms or Toadstools?

Have a seat
These bright, fun "mushrooms" can be found at Docklands Park between Collins Street and Bourke Street. The park is part of a city parkland in Victoria Harbour. There's BBQ’s and a new interactive Play Journey with soft ground so if kiddies fall off the swings or other gadgets they don't hurt themselves. It's a really nice place to have a picnic or sit and read a book. The free City Tourist tram stops at the front at Waterview Walk and there are public toilets as well.

Today's Quote: French painter Rousseau was once asked why he put a naked woman on a red sofa in the middle of his jungle pictures. He answered, "I needed a bit of red there" ~ Jean Jacques Rousseau

A bit of red is always good.

Got to give the "city fathers/mothers" credit for trying to do some nice things for the people!

I suppose you could sit on these mushrooms, too. But if you'd had a few beers, probably not...would slide right off.

Cute! I just love the new spongy floors of playgrounds nowadays — so much safer.

I think everyone would have a try at it atleast once! Very cute :D

PS: To answer your question, the sign only had the name of the bridge on it, so I really have no idea why the statue was there! Will let you know if I find out. Thank you for the comment ;D
