Hello, I created this blog because Melbourne is my city and I want people to see what a beautiful place it is. So come with me on a journey of discovery as we traverse the dining precincts, the culture, the laneways and hidden gems that make Melbourne marvellous.

It's A Dog's Life

That's telling you!
No dog owners can give the excuse they didn't know the rules - there can be no mistaking the instructions with this sign!
Seen down at Portsea near the pier. This small park is on the main street near Weroona Bay near the pier which is a popular fishing spot and also a good place to catch the sunset.

Today's quote: Dogs are animals that poop in public and you're supposed to pick it up. After a week of doing this, you've got to ask yourself, "Who's the real master in this relationship?" ~ Anthony Griffin

Thank you to Autumn Belle of Klang Malaysia Daily Photo for giving me this award. Please visit her lovely blog about Malaysia.

As a dog owner, I often wonder why other owners aren't as concerned and considerate.

This is one reason I no longer own a dog. I hope people do heed the message.

It is a clever sign with a good message presented in an artful, upbeat and not a nagging way. But in the language intended to be read by each dog's master, do Australians not use apostrophes to show possessive use of nouns?

Good sign! Unfortunately, too often necessary...it seems some dog owners figure other people should clean up behind them!

Things are a little better here lately, but most dog owners still don't do it. With imaginable consequences on our sidewalks...

Gosh I'd love to steal that sign and put it up in my yard! I'm tired of doggie surprises in my yard when I mow my lawn ......
