A grand ole classic
I was meeting friends in town recently one Saturday when I espied this beautiful old car. Gleaming red paint work, original tyres the chrome like a shining beacon and best of all - there were three of them. The male members of the wedding party were in tow but the bride I couldn't see. There's something about a red car - sexy and it turns heads.

I too think red cars make heads turn for a second look. Have a lovely day.
What a shiny beautiful car. A gorgeous head turner. Lady in Red?
The 1957 Chevy was something of a high-water mark for Chevrolet. Both Chevrolet and its parent, General Motors began their long slide toward bankruptcy beginning with the 1958 models. The '57 remains a favorite world-wide, and for good reason. When the '57 was built, the "car guys" were still in charge at General Motors. The slide began when the accounting staff gained control of the company at the expense of the "car guys".
Ah, the good old days. Our third car was a 1955 Chevy Bel Air. It was wonderful!
Thank you for all your nice comments, sorry I hadn't been able to get back to you all before now.☺
