Chrome and Leather
You're the guy that'll be sneaking out of your bedroom at three o'clock in the morning to look at your bike. ~Paul Teutul, Sr., American Chopper, "Billy Joel"
These chaps were across the road from the two "bikies" in yesterday's photo, and rode off with all the pomp (and noise) that comes with it. And having ridden on the back of a Harley in the middle of the Australian desert with the wind in your hair, I can understand - there's nothing quite like it!

Hello sweet friend!
oh my gosh...Australia desert, Harley, Billy Joe, it really looks good!
:)
They look a happy team and I imagine they also have lots of funny stories to tell about their adventures!
Cool! :)
Have a nice week!

Wouldn't it be amazing to ride with these chaps? And then sit down to a meal with them at the end of the day?
Ohhh but not with a bad back... (wincing at the thought). Riding around on bikes is quite popular here, especially for middle-aged couples. They map out routes and take long rides. Quite impressive to see them going past.

Nice to see, good for them, but I'm too old for this. Not so old... just lazy enough! A bit of envy? Maybe...
I would love to have a Harley. I had a Honda a long time ago. But the new Harley's are very expensive...and I'm very old, so it's probably not a wise idea. I'll just enjoy your photograph!

But I think you need a few winding curves to add to the motorbike experience. Do you get those in the desert?
Great photos! Always enjoy them and love to catch up on your blog.
Nothing, absolutely nothing, sounds like a Harley.
A few years ago, Harley hired Porsche to engineer a new bike for them. Harley specified to Porsche that the new bike MUST sound like a Harley!
