While in the city one weekday morning, I spotted this group of school children led by their teacher, crossing the footpath and mounting the steps of Federatioon Square. In the background is the iconic Flinders Street Station. What I find most endearing is the girls' tunics - they haven't changed since I went to school. Good to see some things are "ageless."

Haha, the tunics sure haven't changed! None of them look particularly happy - maybe that school dazed expression hasn't changed either!!!
Love the composition of this image , well captured and brilliant for today.
nice entry! love the sunshine :)
It's interesting that the school uniforms there haven't changed. The schools I have seen in the states and here in Saudi Arabia all pretty much have gone with khaki trousers and polo shirts for both boys and girls. Happy Theme Day!
The Flinders Street Station in the background makes this unmistakably Melbourne.
I also love the backdrop here, lovely street scene and capture for the theme!
Walking is good. Pretty much the same uniform I wore too. MB
Good one.
A beautiful view of the beautiful pedestrians of Melbourne. Wonderful interpretation of the theme!
