Weekend Reflections - Curiosity

I see a shop
The Curiousity Shop
What is there?
I cross the road
Peer in the window
The shop is bare.

And then I feel
Disappointment
What was there
What did it sell
Was it clothes or craft
I cannot tell.

For all I see
Is what you see
An empty room
An empty shell.

  1. I love your poem. I feel like I'm experiencing the empty store with you. Well done!
Your banner photo is amazing. If you get a chance to visit my other blog - MostlyLACounty.blogspot.com - for a night view of Jacksonville, Florida.

  3. I really like this one - it's a cool self-portrait. Sometimes you're not going for a reflection, but you get one anyway!

    Happy weekend!

  4. Nice photo. It has a bit of dream like quality to it. I like the way you integrated your image with your words (or your words with your image).

And an interesting way to take a self portrait, too.
