I see a shop
The Curiousity Shop
What is there?
I cross the road
Peer in the window
The shop is bare.
And then I feel
Disappointment
What was there
What did it sell
Was it clothes or craft
I cannot tell.
For all I see
Is what you see
An empty room
An empty shell.

I love your poem. I feel like I'm experiencing the empty store with you. Well done!
ReplyDeleteYour banner photo is amazing. If you get a chance to visit my other blog - MostlyLACounty.blogspot.com - for a night view of Jacksonville, Florida.
Very creative, Blossom Girl, and nicely done.
ReplyDeleteCool shot!
ReplyDeleteI really like this one - it's a cool self-portrait. Sometimes you're not going for a reflection, but you get one anyway!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
Nice photo. It has a bit of dream like quality to it. I like the way you integrated your image with your words (or your words with your image).
ReplyDeleteVery talented my friend, great post!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend reflections

Great post! Love the photo, and your words perfectly convey the sense of disappointment in finding the shop empty. Kathy
ReplyDeleteNice poem!
ReplyDeleteAnd an interesting way to take a self portrait, too.
