Standing and watching these intrepid rowers one wintry morning, a comment by a BBC sports commentator came to mind,

Actually, it was a lovely mild day when the rowers were on the water. Think from memory it was about 12ºC. Michigasn gets much. much colder than Melbourne.:-)
